Merry Christmas to all in the Nexus! As suggested by the blue text in game, various festive items have popped up on the outside of various common tiles throughout the world. The search odds are far higher in these places than they normally would be. Watch this space for Something More later on in the season, but for now happy hunting, decorating and feasting!
To save you a lot of tedious misdirection, the festive-item locations are below.

- (2 times) You unwrap the Christmas Present. Inside you find a lump of coal! (2018-12-25 22:23:51). Places Stygian Coal in your inventory
- You unwrap the Christmas Present. Inside you find a book! (2018-12-26 00:20:30).
- You unwrap the Christmas Present. As you do so, a swirl of lights burst forth and encircle you before rushing into your chest. You feel a surge of endurance move through you. You gain 10 hit points. (2018-12-26 00:20:33). Does exceed maximum hp |

The Twelve Days of Nexmas has begun! The power of the holiday has mixed with the cosmic energies of the multiverse and generated a Nexal Partridge in a Pear Tree, which exists somewhere in the Nexus. Go find it! https://www.nexusclash.com/modules.php?name=Game&op=character&id=11781
Event Rules:
● The contest characters will be scattered throughout the Nexus for each of the Twelve Days of Nexmas. There is one on the first day, there will be two on the second day, etc. until all Twelve Days have passed. There will be updates in this thread. The festive items in the original post will remain findable until the end of the Twelve Days.
● The first person to find and interact with a contest character collects the point associated with that character. Interaction may be anything that acknowledges that you have found the character there - whispering to them, giving an item or of course murdering them. I'm checking the contest characters' message logs and will spot interactions.
● Top scores will matter but the most significant impact is that points collected will score for your side - Good, Evil or Unaligned. For purposes of determining which side gets the point that a given character collects, Faction is more important than Guild is more important than Class. Some clarification on what that means:
●● For instance, a member of a Good faction in an Unaligned Guild will be counted as scoring points for Good despite their Guild membership.
●● For instance, a factionless Demon in an Unaligned Guild will be counted as scoring points for Unaligned despite their Class.
●● Factionless Mortals and members of the Adamant Kinship are considered Unaligned for scoring purposes.
● While the effect of Nexmas is fleeting in the grand scheme of the universe, larger and deeper forces are at work in a tenuous, unstable balance with each other, and the event may tip that balance and result in a larger change in your side's favor.
